What Is The Best Car Wax for White Cars?

We have already looked at the best car wax for black cars, and now we will have a look at white cars. White chalky residue can happen easily, and really shows up a lot on certain cars that have a black or red color. With a white car, you really don’t have that problem, which is a good start. Well, when I say good, that is not really the case. It still happens of course, but it is just darned hard to see.

Trying to make a white car really pop and shine is actually quite a challenge. Even when using the best car wax and polish, it can still be a tough old challenge. That said, the good news it it is possible.

You just need a couple of things really, the first one being your elbow grease. Now of course you can use buffers etc, but there is just more satisfaction in doing at least the first wax by hand. The secret to getting a great shine on any car really comes down to a bit of preparation work first.

The car needs to be clean, and I mean spotless before you begin. You want your paint to be as smooth as it can possibly be, and you want the paint as defect free as you can get. Using a clay bar once a year will ensure that happens. If you do this then you will notice a huge difference. Then it comes down to which wax you should apply.

There is a product that we started using recently and we have had some pretty amazing results with. It is a paint sealant which protects paint from dirts, oil, UV rays and even moisture. This product works a treat and we really like it a lot. There is actually no wax in this at all, and all you need to do is spray this on and then wipe off. Two coats is recommended.

Now we would also recommend applying a wax over the top of this, but to be honest, you can get away without having to do this, as this product is just that good. It isn’t too often that we get excited about a product, but this one is we think, very special indeed.

Here is what a couple of buyers thought about it:

This sealant is amazing. the shine can only be described as a head turner. I mean I noticed a lot more people literally snapping their necks and more compliments. the application was almost to easy.

It gives your paint a deep wet look in about ten minutes! Just clay bar paint first then add the crystal seal

This stuff works and is pretty amazing what it can do for any car, but on a white car, we think you will be very impressed with the shine. The other great news is that a little goes a very long way. You do not need to use a lot of this product and as such it will last a long time.

We initially did not like the price point of this, but we just had to try it based on all the reviews that we had read. We are glad that we did, and this is now one of our most favorite products to use. Clean your car well with a clay bar, apply this sealant and become amazed.

Meguiar’s G6107 White Wax Paste

Meguiar's G6107 White Wax PasteThis white paste is a new product from the leading Meguiars brand and it is also getting some great reviews. Over 100 buyers at Amazon have rated this one at 4.5 out of 5 stars, so clearly many people are well impressed with the results.

This product has been designed from white to light coloured cars and vehicles. You can apply this one by hand which would be my recommendation or use a dual action polisher for even more impressive results.

It uses carnauba wax so that is a great start. It also has some built-in cleaners as well which helps remove any surface contaminants. As you know polish is all about the shine and this one does that and also adds in months of protection. It comes with a small applicator and should be dried off and buffed using a microfiber cloth.

You can read more reviews on this one at Amazon by clicking here.

Painting a car is really eievnsxpe, I just found out when some kid scratched his name in the car I was renting. They do sell paint that is made by the manufacturer, and if you cant prove they scratched the car, you probably will have to deal with it on your own. Go to the dealership and discuss it with them, their paint shop, or a well known paint shop for a Free, make sure its free estimate. See what people say here like you did, its the dif of did it go through the paint, that you can get the paint and dot it on, if its through the paint, my quote was 275 a panel, kid did 5 of them ..good luck
